Wildfire Tele Town Hall

With wildfire season upon us, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan would like to invite you to join Cal OES Director Mark Ghillarducci, CA Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara, and United Policyholders Executive Director Amy Bach for a State Wide Tele-Town Hall.

This informative event will address wildfire preparedness and available resources for homeowners on Thursday, July 9 at 5:00 PM.

Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan has represented the 16th Assembly District - which includes the East Bay communities of Lamorinda, Walnut Creek, and the Tri-Valley – since 2018. Prior to serving in the Assembly, she worked as a law professor and environmental attorney. In Sacramento, the Assemblymember works to represent the values of AD 16, advocating for education funding, environmental protection, fiscal responsibility, and more. She serves on five committees including Appropriations, Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials, Privacy and Consumer Protection, Public Safety, and Banking and Finance. She lives in Orinda with her husband and three school-age children.

Phil's Camino is the story of free spirit Phil, a man living with Stage 4 Cancer and dreaming of walking the 500-mile spiritual pilgrimage Camino de Santiago across Spain. Unable to make the trip, he does the next best thing: he builds a camino behind his house on Vashon Island, starts to walk, and traces his progress on a map.
