Employees Or Contractors - How to be in Compliance

Join fitness studio owner and business consultant Katie Santos to learn the process she uses to help clients make the change in their businesses. Katie Santos is an avid and energetic multitasker, a serial entrepreneur who coaches business owners as an Evernote and Mindbody Certified Consultant. As an owner of Absolute Center for 17 years and a former Chamber Vice President, she has seen lots of changes in the business world. Her zone of genius is listening to business owners and really digging down to the soul of what drives them. This month we will explore two ways that small businesses can get the most ROI out of their Chamber Membership: 1) The Hot New Online Meeting Platform zoom.us - where we will be meeting to discuss 2) Facebook for Business with Facebook Small Business Expert Michael Pasha of Ocean View Digital. Invite your social media staff for this interactive online discussion!

Facebook is the place where people catch up with friends online, find their news and entertainment and where smart business owners can find all the customers they need with the click of a button. However, navigating the platform, knowing what buttons to click and creating ads that actually bring customers in your doors with money in hand instead of frustrating you and draining your wallet can be challenging.

In this segment, Michael Pasha founder and creative director at Oceanview Digital will be joining us to discuss why the Facebook platform is your best option to grow your business. How to create ads that actually get customers to spend money with you and what so many businesses are doing wrong, which has caused them to have unsuccessful ad campaigns and give up on the endless rewards that an effective ad can bring.

Typical Questions About Facebook for Business When should you focus on social media posting and SEO instead of paid advertising? Why are Facebook ads better than other forms of advertising? What do business owners need to think about before putting together a Facebook ads campaign? What makes a successful ad campaign? What do you do when a client’s ad campaign isn’t working as expected? When should someone hire an ad agency vs to learn how to run ads themselves?

“We are very impressed with your Chamber. We have been members of other Chambers over the years and it’s been nothing like the experiences we’re having right out of the gate with your organization. Thank you for your great communication, follow up, and professionalism.”
– Peter Dewey, Bayview Painting

“I couldn’t have asked for a better resource than the Chamber, as I was establishing my medical practice in Lafayette. AJ, Holly, and Sara were so responsive to my questions and gave me many ideas on networking in the community. They host several events that foster community building. I honestly cannot imagine a more robust, active, and friendly chamber as this. I’m a member for life!”
– Cheruba Prabakar, Lamorinda Gynecology & Surgery

“WE LOVE THE CHAMBER! Batch and Brine has been a member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce for almost six years. We value and appreciate the incredible amount of work this organization produces for our community through many events and support for each business. The networking and education of information that’s spilled out weekly for the business community is impressive. They are a helping hand in so many ways for our business community and beyond. We couldn’t be part of this community without being part of the chamber. Lafayette Chamber is one of the best organizations we’ve worked with, so don’t think twice about it, join the Chamber!” – Rolla Ghaben, Batch & Brine

“The Chamber was instrumental in helping us open 14 years ago. The staff went out of their way to help us make connections and ensure we were successful. We would not be where we are today without the Chamber!”
– John & Colleen McCormick, Lamorinda Music
