Local Fine Art for purchase by Jennifer Perlmutter, Tom Taneyhill, Martin Segobia,  Doug Heine, Tony Zorich, Geoffrey Meredith, Katie Korotzer, Carl Heyward, Akiko Suzuki, Dee Tivenon, and others!

 

Passed appetizers by Chef JB Balingit, The Hideout Kitchen. (Thurs. & Fri.); and The Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa (Fri.)

Fine wine donated by Don Kowalski / Specialty Cellars and Jim Meyers / Wine Thieves.

 

This event is mainly an outdoor event with artwork being showcased inside.

 

Tickets are $100 per person, limited to 130 for the night. Hors D'oeuvres, beverages and live music included. Art available for purchase. Lafayette Art & Wine Festival t-shirts available at Venture Quality Goods, 3571 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA or during the event!

Ribbon Cutting at 2 Girls One Plant

2 Girls One Plant is an immersive, eclectic plant nursery, and gift shop. Their mission is to bring the community together and to heal the world through plants. Their dream is to have a therapeutic greenhouse, where they support mental health healing, value diversity and encourage positivity. They also are known for supporting other small businesses through their Small Business Pop Up Markets, and host social events to help educate the community about botanicals. In addition to the plant shop, services also include plant care and design, plant sitting, special orders, private events and wedding plant rentals. Stop by to have a plant-astic time!

Community Thanksgiving Sunrise Stroll

Lafayette ReservoirThe Lafayette Chamber invites you to a brief outdoor gathering followed by a stroll around the Lafayette Reservoir on Friday morning, November 19, 2021, 7am.

 

This free event starts off near the dam with coffee and breakfast treats generously sponsored by Local Kitchens, and their restaurant partner, Wise Sons. Pastor Dan Senter of Our Saviors Lutheran Church will lead off the morning with a short speech about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Warm-up stretch by Unbound Training Company.

 

Those willing are encouraged to join us for a walk around the paved path of the Reservoir starting at 7:30am.

It's a Wonderful Life in Lafayette

It's a Wonderful Life in Lafayette

Free admission! This fun, family-friendly celebration includes Santa sightings, free train rides on the Lafayette Express, official holiday tree lighting ceremony, one-of-a-kind photo ops, live musical entertainment, kid’s crafts, holiday treats and more! Arrive early and plan to stay!

 

Festivities begin at 4pm when Santa is scheduled to parade along Golden Gate Way starting at the Lafayette Historical Society and arriving at Lafayette Plaza Park (corner of Mt. Diablo Blvd. and Moraga Road) at 4:30pm. A must-not-miss for the little ones!

 

The “It’s a Wonderful Life in Lafayette” event is presented by the Lafayette Chamber, and sponsored by local Lafayette Realtor The Dana Green Team and Branagh Development, who together are also hosting the environmentally-friendly downtown Lafayette twinkle lights for the 2021 Holiday Season.

Holiday Mixer Honoring the History of LIA

Holiday Mixer Honoring the History of LIA

Join the Lafayette Chamber for their Holiday Mixer honoring the history of the Lafayette Improvement Association (LIA) and the Town Hall Theatre on Tuesday, December 7, 5:30pm-7pm, at Town Hall Theatre!

 

This special, free, in-person celebration will include speeches, a ribbon cutting, live piano music by John Kiskaddon co-owner of Harper Greer, food provided by Diablo Foods, Round Table Pizza Lafayette, Local Kitchens, and Batch and Brine, no host bar and quite a lot of history!

 

Register so that we can have a name badge waiting for you and a drink ready at the (no host) bar which supports the Town Hall Theatre! 

 

Town Hall COVID-19 policy can be found here: https://www.townhalltheatre.com/covid19. PROOF OF VACCINATION IS REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF TWELVE. Masks that cover the nose and mouth must be worn in Town Hall Theatre at all times regardless of vaccination status. Masks may be temporarily lowered to consume food or drink, but then must be replaced while not actively consuming food and beverage. No food or drink will be permitted in the theatre to encourage masks to stay on during performances.  All food and beverage must be consumed in the lobby or clearly designated outdoor areas.
