AAUW-OML STEM Conference at Saint Mary's College

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) has been hosting an annual Expanding Your Horizons STEM Conference at Saint Mary’s College for the past several years. It is supported by AAUW, some businesses, the Lamorinda Sunrise and Rossmoor Rotary Clubs and Saint Mary’s College. We host close to 250 young middle school girls from all over northern CA for a day to encourage their interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The Workshop Leaders are successful female professionals from around the bay area. Some of the Workshop Leaders are our own accomplished Rotarians who have careers in STEM related areas.

Interestingly, even though the registration fee is $25, we find some young girls are not able to cover this cost, so we have set aside scholarships for them.

Would you like to make a donation to the AAUW-OML STEM Conference at Saint Mary's College presented by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Orinda-Moraga-Lafayette (OML)? We are currently accepting donations to support this important event. Donations will be used to provide scholarships for the girls, and to cover the cost of snacks and lunch.
