Art Embraces Words

You are cordially invited to join artists and writers at the second Art Embraces Words event. This event is made possible by a generous grant from the Lafayette Community Foundation. Free parking available in Library garage.


Writers paint images with words; artists paint images with color. Together they enrich our community. Writers will read excerpts from their work surrounded by artwork from local artists. Thus art literally "embraces" the words as they flow into the room.


Lafayette resident Lynn Carey, host of the Times Book Club is once again MC for the event. It begins at 2 pm with readings approximately every 10 minutes. After the readings there will be a short Q&A led by Ms. Carey. Refreshments will then be served on the adjacent patio.  A table is available for placement of literary and other cultural information of interest to the community.

This Sunday Series continues through Dec. 2019 in Lafayette. Join us!
