The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce has been partnering with SCORE for over 15 years. We welcome our chamber members and community members to schedule a complimentary meeting with a SCORE representative on Tuesdays between the hours of 1:30pm-4:00pm in our Chamber office at 251 Lafayette Circle, Ste 150. 

Mike Harris is our in-house SCORE counselor. Mike earned a BS with an emphasis on electronics from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Santa Clara University. After a few years in engineering, Mike spent most of his career in high tech marketing and operations management. While continuing to work in electronics he helped manage his family retail business. After retiring from his career in electronics, Mike began working with small businesses helping them obtain working capital loans. Besides mentoring, Mike helps present SCORE business plans and financial planning workshops.

Lafayette Business Women will meet at HOLISTIKA Wednesday, July 17, 2024, 5:15pm-6:30pm. Register below for the July gathering. No cost for Lafayette Chamber members.  Guests welcome to attend the first meeting for free, then we encourage guests to join the Lafayette Chamber or pay the $20 guest fee during registration. Immediately following this July meeting at Holistika, stick around for a gentle Yoga class designed to release tension in your body and relax your mind. Cost for the class is $10, register here for the class. Holistika will be offering Gentle Yoga with Valorie Moore, Yoga Village, a Private Event for Lafayette Chamber's Lafayette Business Women 6:30pm-7:30pm. Bring your yoga mat and water bottle, they have a select few mats to borrow. Big Tommy Burns and Beasts Of The Bay Strength has been a pillar in Bay Area strength athletics since 2016. Whether it’s been building the strongman scene and running strongman competitions, partnering with gym owners to run trainings and coach from their facilities or joining forces with local school systems and organizations to teach and train their students how to tap into personal strength and direct it to become an asset in their lives, Big Tommy Burns and Beasts Of The Bay Strength has done it all.
