The Lafayette Chamber will host, via Zoom, "Coffee" with the City of Lafayette Mayor Teresa Gerringer on Friday, July 29 at 8am.

It’s the Lafayette Chamber’s summer mixer with The Park Theater Trust! Lafayette Chamber members and the community are invited to mix and mingle on Wednesday, August 24, 5:30pm-7pm in front of Lafayette Plaza Park. 

The Park Theater Trust will be introducing to our community Jaimi Holker and Adam Bergeron, the husband and wife team behind highly regarded CinemaSF and new operators of our much-loved Park Theater. Learn how you and your business can support the Park and its exciting $5 million renovation. Enjoy local wine tasting by Hollie’s Homegrown and Sideboard’s famous mac & cheese! We will be celebrating the well-earned retirement of the one-and-only Jay Lifson at the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa on Monday, October 3, 5-7pm. Program will start promptly at 6pm. Casual attire, tie dye encouraged! This event is not a surprise.

Evening will include passed appetizers and wine in the Courtyard with live music by “The Insiders” Paul Cotruvo and Kiki Stack. A no host, cash bar will be available. Steven Falk will be the MC for evening along with a few special guest speeches and of course, a few words from Jay, himself to close out the night. As a keepsake, the Chamber will be collecting “stories” and photos of Jay through the years. The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education October 23, 2022. Registration OPEN NOW!

Register HERE: https://lafayettechamber.org/resrun for any of three races on race day, October 23, 2022: 10k, 5k, 2 mile fun run/walk or the virtual race, the Lafayette Reservoir Challenge October 12-22 2022. Race packets that include our traditional long sleeve t-shirt and race bib will be available mid October. Event is pending any health guidelines.

Beneficiaries of the event are the local schools and the services and programs of the Chamber.

Lafayette's Res Run for Education is the city’s most popular “family affair”, involving kids, parents, grandparents, and hundreds of serious runners from throughout the Bay Area. Join us in 2022 for the 10k, 5k or the 2 mile run/walk for fun! Sprinters, walkers, the “stroller brigade” and many of Lafayette’s top four legged residents are welcome to join in the fun.
