Diablo Ballet is an award-winning internationally recognized professional performing dance company committed to enriching, inspiring, and educating children and adults through the art of dance. Presenting acclaimed classical and contemporary ballets, the company performs in Walnut Creek at the Lesher Center for the Arts and productions on tour.  Diablo Ballet is committed to exposing youth to the arts through its renowned PEEK Outreach Programs which have reached over 75,000 underserved school children in the East Bay since 1995. In addition, Diablo Ballet has served thousands of at-risk teenage girls and boys incarcerated in the Juvenile Justice system since 2015. In August of 2019, Diablo Ballet launched its Ballet School, the first in the history of Contra Costa County operated by a professional ballet company, which also offers Dance for Parkinson's classes free of charge for Parkinson's patients and their caregivers.

Our mission is to help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports.®.  We offer recreational sports leagues, camps and clinics for kids ages 3 and up in today’s most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, lacrosse and volleyball.  We are committed to providing age-appropriate instruction, making sports fun for kids, and convenient for today’s busy families. Students at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Lafayette build essential study skills like concentration, develop a positive attitude towards learning and time-management through daily practice. As a program designed to advance students beyond grade level, it's the support at home that often makes a difference. Families that are committed to academics and students who commit to daily practice often find they can accomplish much more than they first believed. Kumon is a long term program and when students achieve a level of study above their grade level, they experience the academic advantage in school which allows them to enjoy learning. 

While Kumon does require a long-term commitment, within 6 months, you can expect to see signs of increasing test scores, more positive attitudes toward academics, and homework anxiety.
