The Emotional Body: Understanding the Mind-Body Connection

Join us for a dynamic discussion on the impacts emotions have on the body, and learn more about how acupuncture can be a great adjunct resource to our work as a therapist.

In Chinese Medicine, emotions flow through specific organ systems and meridian pathways, directly impacting our physical health. When emotions become stuck, they manifest as physical symptoms - anxiety disrupts digestion, anger creates tension, grief affects breathing, and fear impacts our nervous system. Through acupuncture and energy work, we can release these emotional patterns at their physical source, creating an integrated approach that complements therapy.
