LightUp Fitness is a new group exercise class being held here in Lafayette that combines cardio conditioning, strength training, yoga stretches and mindfulness all into one fun-filled hour. The class is set to fun and energizing music and is intended to give you that great endorphin high that comes from a sweaty cardio workout as well as that grounded zen sensation you get after a great yoga class. In just one hour you will get energized, inspired, and stronger and have a great time doing it!
Lisa Anderson, the founder and creator of the LightUp workout, is a long time Lafayette resident with 15 years of group exercise teaching experience. In addition to being a health and fitness enthusiast, she is a busy mom to three kids and an active community volunteer. Her passion for living life focused on joy, gratitude and intention led to the creation of this class. Classes are currently being held on Mondays and Thursdays at 9am at the Sizzling Latin Dance Studio. We are so excited to Get Lit with you soon!
