About
The Lamorinda Care Collective was born in December 2024 with a simple yet powerful mission: to bring warmth, support, and dignity to families facing unmet needs during the holiday season. What began as a three-week pop-up shop in Lafayette quickly became something much bigger—welcoming more than 700 families from across the Bay Area and showing us the incredible generosity and kindness of our community.
We were deeply moved by the trust placed in us and knew we couldn’t stop there.
Our commitment remains the same: not just to help families survive, but to ensure they can thrive. We’ve created a streamlined way for nonprofits and families to share their needs, offering appointment-based visits for comfort and accessibility, as well as delivery services to ensure essentials reach those who need them most.
