Masonry is the world’s first and largest fraternity, built on a 300+ year tradition of improving ourselves and our communities, and ultimately making good men better. This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the constitution of OUR lodge, located in the heart of Lafayette, CA.

Our members come from Lafayette and the surrounding area, including Moraga, Orinda, Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Danville, Alamo, San Ramon, Dublin, and several other East Bay cities.

The Bay Area Crisis Nursery was established in 1981 to help prevent child abuse and neglect by providing supportive services to families. Our primary service is providing a warm, loving, homelike environment for children from birth through 5 years of age by offering 24-hour care and emergency childcare services. Our services are free, confidential, and voluntary.

We welcome our homeless neighbors by providing daily essentials like food, shelter, clothing and any other kind of critical care they need. We offer men and women the opportunity for complete life change through faith-based discipleship programs that heal hurting hearts… and empower them to rebuild their lives with God’s love as a foundation.

In 2018, people turned to BBB more than 173 million times for BBB Business Profiles on nearly 5.4 million businesses and Charity Reports on 11,000 charities, all available for free at bbb.org. The International Association of Better Business Bureaus is the umbrella organization for the local, independent BBBs in the United States, Canada and Mexico. BBB Serving the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern Coastal California was founded in 1927 and serves 13 counties. 

The Community Foundation of Lafayette supports local nonprofits in the categories of Arts & Culture, Friends of the Foundation, Human Services, Seniors and Youth Development & Education through its annual Excellence Grants.

 The mission of Contra Costa School of Performing Arts is to provide a distinguished, pre-professional experience in performing arts within a college and career preparatory setting. We believe in fostering a culture of excellence with the core values of rigor, relevance, resilience and relationships.
