We, the members of St. Perpetua Parish, know the unfailing love of God. Our communion with Jesus and with the Church binds us together through times of transition and growth. Drawing on this strong bond and following the example and teachings of Christ, we commit ourselves to building an inclusive community by: courageously sharing our faith with everyone in our parish; actively reaching out to those in need within and beyond our parish; fostering improvements that will help us carry out our ministries most effectively.

Temple Isaiah is more than a synagogue – it’s a Jewish Neighborhood!  Here you will find learning and purpose, friendship and celebration.

As the oldest and largest synagogue in Contra Costa County, our roots lie deep in a uniquely Californian, vibrant approach to Jewish tradition and innovation.

We embrace all who come through our doors with warmth and caring, with an openness to diversity and a commitment to the dignity of each person in our midst.

Temple Isaiah is named after the prophet, Isaiah who taught that our house of prayer should be open to all peoples. We embrace and celebrate the diversity that makes up our sacred neighborhood: interfaith families, those in all stages of life, and people of all abilities, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

Temple Isaiah’s mission is to embody, enhance and perpetuate our Jewish tradition by providing a welcoming spiritual home where the membership gathers to worship God, study Torah, engage in acts of Tikun Olam, deepen our relationship with Israel, participate in Jewish rituals and life cycle events, and experience the joy of being a part of a caring community.

The Giving Exchange partners with under-resourced communities to implement self-sustaining projects for a lasting impact. We dream of a world where children have every opportunity to build their best future; where all needs for education, health and livelihood are met by locally-grown resources; and where communities are implementing the solutions they need to make life better for themselves and for generations to come. There are many ways for you to get involved: fund a project, volunteer remotely, travel to East Africa as an Ambassador, and more.

The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting those diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, their families and the ongoing search for a cure.  Nephrotic Syndrome is a serious and rare auto-immune disease that attacks the kidneys causing them to shut down. There is no known cause or cure. Treatments are extremely limited and consist primarily of steroids, cancer, and transplant medications. Many patients are children who spend a major part of their life in and out of the hospital, trying to find a treatment that keeps them in remission while managing the side effects. Receiving this diagnosis is life-changing. It can take the breath out of any parent or child who finds themselves in this situation. Our goal at NSF is to meet each family and child in these tough times and lift each one up as best we can by providing financial and emotional support to help them weather the times to better health, acceptance, and adjustment.

“We are very impressed with your Chamber. We have been members of other Chambers over the years and it’s been nothing like the experiences we’re having right out of the gate with your organization. Thank you for your great communication, follow up, and professionalism.”
– Peter Dewey, Bayview Painting

“I couldn’t have asked for a better resource than the Chamber, as I was establishing my medical practice in Lafayette. AJ, Holly, and Sara were so responsive to my questions and gave me many ideas on networking in the community. They host several events that foster community building. I honestly cannot imagine a more robust, active, and friendly chamber as this. I’m a member for life!”
– Cheruba Prabakar, Lamorinda Gynecology & Surgery

“WE LOVE THE CHAMBER! Batch and Brine has been a member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce for almost six years. We value and appreciate the incredible amount of work this organization produces for our community through many events and support for each business. The networking and education of information that’s spilled out weekly for the business community is impressive. They are a helping hand in so many ways for our business community and beyond. We couldn’t be part of this community without being part of the chamber. Lafayette Chamber is one of the best organizations we’ve worked with, so don’t think twice about it, join the Chamber!” – Rolla Ghaben, Batch & Brine

“The Chamber was instrumental in helping us open 14 years ago. The staff went out of their way to help us make connections and ensure we were successful. We would not be where we are today without the Chamber!”
– John & Colleen McCormick, Lamorinda Music
